Blue Sky Agribusiness has been at the helm of a number of projects for the Australian livestock industry over the past 6 years. Our motto continues to be “You invest in our business, we invest in yours” when it comes to project management.
We have been working on a range of projects with a range of clients, all within the Australian livestock Industry. We have provided some examples of our work across many areas including overseas project management, national project coordination, individual research projects, specific association projects and industry insight. These examples are below:
South East Asian Welfare Program (Meat and Livestock Australia) 2011/2016 – The role of the MLA animal welfare program is to assist exporters implement and maintain ESCAS supply chains by managing and providing services such as Gap analysis and risk assessments, SOP training and Technical advice throughout South East Asia. This included cattle, sheep and goat live export markets.
National Coordinator, Grass Seeds Action Plan (Meat and Livestock Australia) 2014/2015 – The National Grass Seed Action Program extension and communication program aims to address the rising cost of grass seed contamination to the whole lamb supply chain. The coordinator manages the delivery of producer knowledge and skills development grass seed workshop, makes recommendations to MLA on integration of materials into extension and communication opportunities, reviews and analyses R&D requirements in grass seeds management and works with the National Grass Seed Leadership Group to deliver coordinated information to industry.
Livestock Curfew Impacts at Saleyards (Regional Infrastructure Pty Ltd) 2012– Understanding of the current research into management of livestock curfews, development of an assessment protocol to be used in individual yards and manage independent assessments on yards.
Manage breed development and marketing projects (Shorthorn Beef Australia) 2012 – Undertake projects as described by SB in the areas of breed development and marketing – with the purpose of increasing market share for the Shorthorn breed. These projects were worked through in accordance to SB Board priority and timetable
Investor forecast brief on the Australian red meat and livestock industry (Agriculture Asset Management) 2014 – The development of an investor forecast brief on the Australian red meat and livestock industry (cattle and sheep). This brief included a total forecast review, explanatory notes, key insights and commentary along with some graphics and a presentation for investors.
